VicRoads

VicRoads provides leave to a number of their graduates, who have completed 18 months worth of intensive training after graduating with degrees in Civil/Environmental/Geotechnical Engineering. Attached is a list of companies in the UK that can offer a 12 month graduate program to those graduates that want to travel overseas from Australia to the UK.

The spreadsheet provides contact names, numbers and emails of those companies that are interested in taking on a graduate. Please read the notes before contacting the companies. The website address’s for the participating companies is also listed.

Work Experience & Industrial Placement Vacancies

Capita Symonds offer a variety of industrial placement and work experience positions in our Highways Design and our Transport Planning teams.   Capita Symonds have positions suitable for a wide range of students – from those studying for their A-levels who are keen to get some inside experience before choosing a career path, right up to those who are studying post-graduate qualifications and have finely honed interests.

These places tend to fill up fast and so we advise you to get your applications in by early 2005 if you wish to start your placement or work experience next year.
